Baglietto sells first DOM range flagship

Baglietto has sold its first DOM155 motor yacht, the shipyard’s third order in two weeks.

The sale of the 47-metre yacht designed by Stefano Vafiadis, was facilitated by building captain Simon Mackay in his second project with the La Spezia-based shipyard.

The interiors of the yacht will be designed by Leonardo Santi, who has already signed several projects within Baglietto’s DOM line.

The DOM155 is a sub-500 GT displacement motor yacht offering larger volumes and enhanced liveability.

It features clean, sculptural lines and is built in aluminium for high performance, shallow draft and extensive customisation.

The stern is conceived as a versatile wellness area with an infinity pool and a configurable beach club that can serve as a spa, gym or additional garage.

Interior and exterior spaces are seamlessly integrated through full-height glazing and open layouts.

Growth path

The yacht includes a full-beam owner’s suite on the main deck, four guest cabins (with an optional fifth) and crew areas.

A 130sqm sundeck with 360-degree views, lounge areas and a pool complete the onboard experience.

The DOM155 is powered by twin CAT C32 engines and reaches a top speed of 16 knots.

“We are very pleased with this sale, which comes just a few months after the project was first unveiled to the market earlier this year,” said Fabio Ermetto, chief commercial officer of Baglietto.

“The fact that the owner is already an enthusiast of our brand further confirms the growth path we are pursuing and the strength and credibility of our offering.

“The DOM155 fits perfectly within this vision, embodying a yacht distinguished by a high degree of customisation, exceptional comfort and outstanding volumes.”

He continued: “We are fully confident that it will establish itself as a benchmark in the under-500 GT segment.”

Delivery of the yacht is scheduled for 2029.
