Product Spotlight: Lopolight Control Hub

The Lopolight Control Hub — a compact monitoring and control solution designed to modernise onboard LED navigation lighting.

Developed to streamline vessel operations, the Lopolight Control Hub enables centralised control and monitoring of navigation lights and auxiliary equipment directly through an existing multifunction display (MFD).

By integrating with bridge electronics brands including Garmin, Raymarine and Furuno, the system allows operators to manage onboard lighting via an intuitive touchscreen interface.

The hub provides 16 monitored output channels capable of controlling navigation lights, deck lighting, docking lights, wipers, fans and other onboard systems. Each channel supports loads up to 2A, with a maximum total load of 10A, operating across both 12V and 24V DC installations.

Growing demand for simplified onboard systems

Designed with installation flexibility in mind, the compact unit measures approximately 150 × 150 × 40mm and connects to onboard displays via Ethernet, allowing it to be mounted discreetly while remaining accessible for emergency manual operation.

Built-in current monitoring continuously checks connected equipment and triggers alarms in the event of power loss or system faults, improving operational awareness and safety at sea.

According to IMP, the Control Hub responds to growing demand for simplified onboard systems that reduce wiring complexity while enhancing visibility and control from the helm. The solution consolidates multiple switches and panels into a single integrated interface, helping vessel operators minimise operational errors and streamline troubleshooting.

Lopolight, a global leader in LED navigation lighting technology, developed the Control Hub as part of its wider mission to improve maritime safety through intelligent lighting and monitoring solutions across leisure, commercial and professional vessels.

The Lopolight Control Hub is available through IMP.
