Cockwells Modern & Classic Boatbuilding will stage the world debut of its Duchy 45 at the Southampton International Boat Show 2026,.
The 45ft motor launch is the largest model in the Duchy range to date and has been designed for coastal cruising, entertaining and extended time on board.
The vessel combines classic Duchy styling with a semi-displacement hull by Andrew Wolstenholme, low-maintenance composite construction and twin Volvo Penta IPS 600 pod drives.
Accommodation includes a super-king master cabin with en-suite heads, while the main-deck layout features an expansive saloon, aft cockpit, large windows, double bifold doors and an opening sunroof to connect the interior with the cockpit and surrounding views.
The cockpit includes seating around a veneered table, with an optional electric Bimini. A transom walkthrough leads to a full-beam bathing platform, which can be lowered hydraulically for swimming access or tender handling.
Intelligent design
The galley includes four induction hobs, a combination oven, double sink and full-size refrigerator and freezer.
Twin Volvo Penta IPS 600 pod drives give a cruising speed of 25 knots and a maximum speed of 31 knots.
Joystick control, virtual anchoring and dynamic positioning are included, while options include a passerelle, bow thruster, Seakeeper gyrostabiliser, sun pads and a flybridge.

The model is available with either a twin-cabin arrangement with galley down or a three-cabin layout with the galley adjoining the saloon.
The Duchy 45 will be shown on stand M111 at SIBS 2026 taking place from 18 to 27 September.
