Largest superyacht fleet in event history

The 2026 Palm Beach International Boat Show (PBIBS) concluded its five-day run with its largest concentration of superyachts to date.

The show featured ten yachts over 200ft in length more than 30 over 100ft and more than 100 vessels above 80ft.

Standout vessels included Rocinante at 260ft, Boardwalk measuring 254ft, Kensho at 246ft, Casino Royale (242ft, Damen Yachting) and Casino Royale (236ft, Tankoa Yachts).

“What really stood out this year was the energy across the entire show,” said Andrew Doole, president of show organisers U.S. Boat Shows at Informa Markets.

“From the moment you arrived, there was something happening, on the docks, on the water and throughout the show.

“Between the superyacht displays and the expanded programming, it created a more dynamic experience that kept people engaged from start to finish.

“That balance of business and entertainment is what continues to bring people back to Palm Beach.”

At the show, Tureddi Yachts announced the sale of its first fully custom TD27, while MarineMax reported selling more than 100 vessels.

“Palm Beach was a strong show for our new boat business,” added Tim Derrico, director of sales at HMY Yacht Sales.

“We completed five Princess deals ranging from 50 to 80ft, secured a new Viking and have several additional deals progressing across our product lines.”

Workforce development

Beyond the docks, PBIBS 2026 introduced a floating pickleball court which was home to the Floating Invitational, a competitive tournament for yacht crews and invited participants.

The Gives Back Zone served as a central hub within the show, bringing together nonprofit organisations, conservation groups and community partners supported through the Marine Industries Association of Palm Beach County (MIAPBC).

The space provided attendees with the opportunity to learn more about marine conservation, workforce development and educational initiatives.

As in previous years, proceeds from the show support the Marine Industries Association of Palm Beach County’s grant programme, funding marine industry education, workforce development and nonprofit initiatives throughout the region.

The next edition of the Palm Beach International Boat Show will take place from March 17 – 21 2027.
