Groupe Beneteau has acquired the French company Sailing Atlantic Services and committed to establishing a new, extended marine services centre.
The company, located in Vendée, Les Sables d’Olonne specialises in the installation of navigation and safety equipment, boat customisation, maintenance, and storage and has been a long-standing Group partner for around 25 years.
The site prepares between 130 and 150 boats each year, mainly for charter fleets operating in France and internationally, positioning Les Sables d’Olonne as a key location for the commissioning of Lagoon and Excess catamarans manufactured in Vendée by Group Beneteau.
Group Beneteau has also confirmed an investment in Les Sables d’Olonne for the development of a service centre in the Port Olona 3 area, where Sailing Atlantic Services will be based.

Following the integration of Canet-en-Roussillon/ south of France located BMS in October 2025, Group Beneteau is continuing to expand its service activities at sites with direct water access.
Group Beneteau is investing €3.3 million in the new Les Sables d’Olonne marine services centre targeting 300 launches per year, with commissioning scheduled for late 2027.
The Group has signed a preliminary sales agreement for the site in the Port Olona 3 area. The initial agreement is for a 7,000sqm site, with the option of a further 5,000sqm to be exercised within five years.
The building permit is scheduled to be filed in September 2026.
The initial investment will be €3.3 million, which could reach €4.5 million with options, with the project involving the construction of a building capable of accommodating larger Lagoon and Excess multihulls and Prestige yachts manufactured in Vendée.
The site will will target an increase in capacity from the current 120 launches to 300 per year.
Key location
The specifications for the building also include environmental requirements, with the installation of photovoltaic panels, a green roof, optimisation of surfaces to limit soil sealing, architecture focused on marine life and ecology, and compliance with ART 2020 standards.
“Les Sables d’Olonne is a key location for the Group in the Vendée region: with this new hub at Port Olona 3, this investment will enable us to get closer to our customers and improve the quality of our service, so that we can support each customer with their sailing projects,” explained Bruno Thivoyon, chairman of the Group’s executive board.
Sailing Atlantic Services was founded in 2000 and has 11 employees with a revenue of €1.8 million in 2025.
Denis Fauvet, chief executive officer, will remain in his post.
