For Next Yacht Group 2025 was one of the yard’s most significant years to date.
Over the past year, the Viareggio-based shipyard that brings together the AB Yachts and Maiora brands, recorded an order book exceeding 100 million euros, finalised ten sales across both brands, had six launches, four deliveries, and unveiled four new projects: AB Yachts AB 110s, Maiora M|30, M|38, and 42 Exuma.
The shipyard also had two world premieres – the AB 95 at the Cannes Yachting Festival and the 36 Exuma at the Monaco Yacht Show.
The Group’s boat show strategy was reorientated around key international events which included Dubai, Palm Beach, Venice, Cannes, Monaco and Fort Lauderdale.
Technological breakthrough
2025 was also a year of technological breakthrough for the Group with the launch of the NEXT AI-Integrated System, a proprietary artificial intelligence platform developed to autonomously manage all onboard functions without relying on an internet connection, operating in a local-first mode.
The system will be rolled out across the shipyard’s entire range starting in 2026.
The Group has also worked on new positioning and carried out a brand identity review while developing high-profile collaborations including a partnership with couturier Elie Saab.
“We have succeeded in combining artisanal excellence, technological innovation, and industrial vision, laying solid foundations for future challenges,” said Giorgio Mattei, deputy president of Next Yacht Group.
The past year stands out for concrete and measurable achievements, obtained in remarkably short timelines for the yachting sector.
