British RIB manufacturer RIB-X has relaunched, four years after being acquired by Votec Marine.
The company says the new models will have a renewed focus on performance, innovation, and craftsmanship, with an expanded range of RIBs, tenders, and services for the leisure, superyacht, and defence sectors.
The company has invested in the latest technologies in 3D scanning and printing to aid the design process and says the rebrand and relaunch reflect a renewed focus on innovation, service, and design.
“RIB-X has always been synonymous with innovation, craftsmanship, and performance,” said Ross Collingwood, founder of Vortec Marine.

“Under Vortec Marine, we’re relaunching the brand stronger than ever, with a modernised offering that serves both leisure enthusiasts and professional operators alike.”
The new models will incorporate inboard and outboard powered superyacht tenders and a core range of SOLAS-approved tdners for superyachts of more than 500 gross tonnes.
There will also be models that are more rugged for commercial and government solutions.
In addition the newly launched RIB-X will provide custom outfitting and refit and maintenance services.
“It is an exciting time ahead and our focus is on providing high-quality boats built to order rather than mass production, enabling client customisation to suit their needs and match the mothership,” said Richard Burlingham, RIB-X managing director.
RIB-X was founded in 2003 and is based in Swanwick on the UK’s South Coast.
