Kip Ellis has resigned as Patrick Industries president – powersports and housing effective immediately.
In a statement, Patrick Industries said Ellis had resigned to pursue interests outside the company.
The company stated Ellis does not have any disagreement with Patrick Industries on any matter, including operations, policies or practices.
The company has appointed Hugo Gonzalez as the new president – powersports and Housing effective immediately, with Patrick stating that the appointment aligns with its succession plan.
Gonzalez has more than 18 years of experience serving the RV, manufactured housing, and marine markets.
Chief operating officer
He joined the company in 2007 and has served in a series of progressive leadership roles including plant manager for an RV business unit of Adorn Holdings following its acquisition by the company in May 2007.
Gonzalez was appointed executive vice president – operations, in January 2024 and elected as chief operating officer in May 2024.
Prior to that, Gonzalez served as senior vice president of RV operations for the company from July 2021 to January 2024, group vice president of operations from February 2020 to June 2021, and business unit director from February 2017 to January 2020.
Ellis was named president – powersports, technology and housing in January 2024 after serving as executive vice president of operations since 2016.
Before joining Patrick Industries, Ellis held positions at Dometic and Attwood Mobile Products.
