Founded in 2022, Electric Outboard is dedicated to accelerating the transition to a cleaner, more sustainable recreational and commercial marine sector.
With continuing advancements in propulsion and battery technology, there is an electric solution for many types of boats and use cases from work boats and tenders, to safety and support craft, to smaller fishing boats and larger sailing yachts.
However, misconceptions and misinformation prevail. To counter this, we challenge manufacturers’ performance data by testing motors and batteries in real world conditions to give our customers accurate information and honest opinions.
We work with a number of different motor, battery and boat manufacturers to be able to create bespoke packages for our customers rather than try to squeeze them into any one manufacturer’s ecosystem.
We’re not about selling an off the shelf product, rather a solution that meets each customer’s needs.

Advanced Italian engineering
Advanced engineering, reliability, state-of-the-art components and precision machining define the Italian designed and manufactured Mitek electric motors.
With a standard powerleg and prop, their outboards ranging from 4.5hp to a mighty 80hp may look like a petrol engine, but their constant torque delivers power availability at any RPM.
The unique Revolve is the only sterndrive able to rotate on its own axis to switch from ON to OFF mode, making its footprint almost zero. Revolve completely eliminates the problem of mounting, dismounting and storing traditional outboards.
Mitek’s latest innovation, a rotating saildrive, offers unrivalled advantage in terms of control and safety in tight spaces or strong currents. It can be freely oriented, functioning both as a propulsion system and a stern thruster, making it easier to manoeuvre more precisely regardless of weather conditions.
Singapore-based Momentum Electric Marine have created a range of ‘straight out of the box’ electric outboard motors for commercial and leisure boaters alike.
The M10 is the only 10kW electric outboard motor designed to be hand-carried while its petrol can-like battery fits into a typical fuel locker. Compact and lightweight, the M10 package has the endurance to last all day while its instant torque feels more like 25hp off the line, getting small RIBS on the plane immediately.
It has proved a winning solution not only for RIB and tender owners, but also sailing and rowing clubs for their safety and coaching boats. With no tools required, it’s simple to retrofit either the tiller or remote steering option to existing boats.
The smaller but no less punchy U2 is a full-featured 5hp equivalent powerhouse with smart features for a wide range of applications. Lighter than most 1kW equivalent motors but delivering more than twice the power, it is a great solution for tenders, day sailers, fishing boats and small workboats.
Ultra light, heavy duty inflatables
Ultra light, heavy duty, quick setup with no loose parts – the EZraft range is ideal for boat owners looking for an easily stowable tender and businesses needing to keep some kit readily available in a van.
Ranging from 2.4m weighing in at only 12kg through to 3.6m at just 17kg, the ‘Quadmaran’ design provides a stable ride on the water while the middle hulls give superior flotation, enabling owners to carry more gear and passengers.
Suitable for up to 5hp outboards, the combination of an EZraft with the Momentum U2 is a great solution for those wanting a light, easy to transport and stow, quick set-up tender and electric motor package.
High performance tenders
