Sunseeker has begun the lamination of its first 134 Superyacht.
Lamination of Hull No.1 began at the shipyard’s dedicated superyacht facility in Osprey Quay, Dorset and marks a milestone in the yard’s history, representing involvement from hundreds of Sunseeker workers. In excess of 100 qualified boat builders will be involved in the build process itself.
In order to build the new 134, Sunseeker has invested in its 27,000sqft facilities at Osprey Quay, where the superyachts will be built.
The shipyard has invested in enhanced infrastructure, capability and workflow, creating a purpose-built environment designed to deliver the larger, more complex yachts.
Hull No.1 of the 134 Superyacht is due to come off the line for testing in April 2027 before making her way to the West Coast of the US. This will be the third Sunseeker the new owners have commissioned.
Work on Hull No.2 will be begin as soon as Hull one is de-moulded.
