Nautor Swan has unveiled renders of its new Swan Alloy 44, Swan’s maiden alloy supermaxi.
At the Monaco Yacht Show, the shipyard confirmed it is continuing to expand its product strategy and has a future line of alloy models planned, together with a forthcoming Bluewater line, SwanScape.
The Swan Alloy 44 is designed by Malcolm McKeon in collaboration with Swan’s New product development and technical office teams.
Features of the new design include customisation, high stiffness-to-weight ratio and lifecycle serviceability while retaining Swan characteristics in proportion and profile.
It will be the first yacht to be launched at Nautor Swan’s new facility in Viareggio, with the aluminium hulls sourced from the Gouwerok Yard in the Netherlands.
A full technical release and launch is expected in 2026.
We believe in the Swan Alloy 44 project and its potential to set a new standard in a superyacht sailing market.
Bruce Brakenhoff
“Alloy gives us new freedom without losing the Swan silhouette, elegance in line, purpose in detail, and a sailing experience that feels effortless,” explained Malcolm.
The first glimpse of the yacht follow on from the announcement in March 2025 of a partnership between Nautor Swan and Edmiston.
At the Monaco Yacht Show, Bruce Brakenhoff of Edmiston reaffirmed the brokerage firm’s strong support for the Swan Alloy 44 project and highlighted the long-term alliance between the two brands.
This is further strengthened by the opening of a Nautor Swan sales office in Newport, US, at the heart of the East Coast sailing scene.
New standard
“For Edmiston, this partnership is a natural step. Nautor Swan is one of the most legendary brands in sailing,” said Bruce.
“We believe in the Swan Alloy 44 project and its potential to set a new standard in a superyacht sailing market that holds growing appeal.”
Nautor Swan also confirmed up to two further models in the alloy family, beyond 50 meters.
“We extend choice without diluting identity: performance when you want it, ease when you need it, and the Swan feeling throughout,” explained Giovanni Pomati, CEO, Nautor Swan, speaking about the brand’s developments which also include the launch of its Swan 128 flagship.
