Numarine has launched its new flagship yacht, the first 40MXP superyacht from the yard.
The new 40-metre yacht, one of the shipyard’s XP Series, is a development of the 37XP.
The shipyard has already several units under construction and will be delivering two to their new owners during 2025.
“Preserving the same stylistic cues and DNA of all our models, the 40MXP retains our high-volume, low-maintenance, long-range ethos while offering a number of new design features that enhance the intimate connection with the sea that a yacht provides,” said Ömer Malaz, chairman at Numarine.
The optimised hull form has been developed by long-standing naval architecture partner Umberto Tagliavini.
Features of the yacht include an enlarged aft deck, achieved both as a result of the increased hull length and by moving the saloon’s aft sliding doors slightly forward.
Standard propulsion
The resulting area accommodates an alfresco dining space, a bar, and a lounge surrounding an aft pool with a glass transom.
This hub connects to a hydraulic swim platform that spans the yacht’s 8-metre beam and can be shaded with an awning.
Standard propulsion is provided by twin MAN 800hp engines, with the option to upgrade to a Tier III-compliant twin MAN 900hp configuration. These provide a 6,000-nautical-mile range at 8 knots.
Customisable cabin spaces
Inside, the yacht accommodation can be arranged across six suites for up to 12 guests, including a full-beam master on the main deck, along with two additional customisable cabin spaces. Both the interior and exterior design are the work of Can Yalman.
In addition, the yacht’s tender deck is capable of carrying a 9-metre tender and three full-size jet skis, with additional space for water toys.
“We are extremely excited to have delivered the first of the all new 40MXP,” said Chris Gore, sales and marketing director.
“Our new flagship offers true luxury blended with versatility be that for family or charter use, whilst maintaining our core Numarine DNA.”
