New AB 95 from AB Yachts

AB Yachts, a brand of Next Yacht Group has unveiled its new AB 95 model

The yacht has been developed in collaboration with the architectural studio Archea Associati and has a top speed of 50 knots, powered by 6,000hp engines.

The new AB 95 measures 28.45 metres in length and has a 6.8-metre beam.

The yacht features three decks with four cabins for the owner and guests, accommodating up to ten berths, plus two additional crew cabins for four crew members.

“With the AB 95, we wanted to evolve the legacy of our AB 110 project, continuing a journey that unites tradition and innovation,” explained Marco Casamonti, creative director of Archea Associati studio.

“The result is the fusion of AB Yachts’ 30-year expertise in yachting with our studio’s (Archea Associati) know-how in architectural and design projects, giving life to a yacht that incorporates the most advanced engineering solutions, with top-quality materials and finishes.

“A timelessly elegant yacht, perfectly balanced between design and functionality, performance and comfort.”

He added: “The new AB 95 is designed for those who demand high sporting performance on the open sea without compromising on the premium quality of interior and exterior spaces that seamlessly flow into one another.

“We are proud of this project, which represents a perfect synthesis of the past, present and future of our nautical vision.”

Premium materials

The exterior lines incorporate a reverse-angled bridge windshield that creates a larger flybridge and symmetry used both a stylistic and functional feature with twin staircases aft leading up to the flybridge and leading down to the lower deck.

The interiors incorporate premium materials such as teak parquet flooring and Italian leathers, paired with high-tech elements including integrated LED strips and light-toned ceilings.

The main deck introduces a black-lacquered galley integrated into the salon, which also serves as a cocktail bar.

The solution frees up space on the lower deck, allowing for an additional guest cabin.

Maximum livability

The main deck also includes a day head to maximise livability, and an aft beach area with direct access to the sea and a garage capable of housing a tender up to 4.5 metres and a jet ski.

The lower deck is also devoted to maximum livability with four guest cabins – two full-beam and two twins with sliding, foldaway beds – plus two crew cabins.

The AB 95 flybridge houses a sundeck with a reverse-glass windshield that shapes the yacht’s external profile and becomes a distinctive architectural element.

The open-air terrace is accessed from the aft cockpit via two external carbon staircases.

The yacht is powered by three MAN V12 engines of 2,000hp each and MJP waterjets – two steerable and one central booster.
