Castoldi’s Jet Tender 19 RB SOLAS has received Lloyd’s Register certification for a new low lifting arrangement.
The lifting arrangement has been designed to enable storage of the tender in reduced-height superyacht garages.
The Jet Tender 19 RB SOLAS is powered by Castoldi’s waterjet drive matched to a 230mhp diesel engine and built with a deep-V Kevlar composite hull.
The tender also incorporates Castoldi’s patented self-righting system (RISER), with the mechanism integrated within a dedicated stern compartment and able to be activated during capsizing events via an actuation lever mounted below the swim platform.
The SOLAS model is aesthetically identical to Castoldi’s standard version.
Certification
The certification follows on from the launch of Castoldi’s latest Jet Tender 17, designed for the yacht tender market.
Features of the new tender incude a gull-wing hull that is laminated in Kevlar to provide lateral stability and high navigation comfort, and a 170hp diesel engine coupled to the Castoldi Turbodrive 224 DA waterjet.
“We have completely redesigned this model to offer a superior experience in every respect,” said Giacomo Castoldi, CEO.
“The new Jet Tender 17 is a multi-purpose tender, perfectly suited to both the needs of the crew and the comfort and safety of the guests.”
To ensure maximum comfort even in windy or rough sea conditions, several folding and removable bow and stern awnings are available, designed to offer effective protection to passengers
The new Jet Tender 17 is already in production.
