Azimut Yachts renovated headquarters is officially opened, with approximately 1,500 employees based in the Avigliana facility.
The project is part of a €50 million investment plan for the production site and was overseen by AMDL CIRCLE and Michele De Lucchi, who also curated the restyling of the main building and the construction of a new multifunctional pavilion.
The Studio’s collaboration with the shipyard began more than ten years ago, when it began designing all Azimut Yachts lounges worldwide.
The employees’ offices were renovated based on an architectural design by Settanta7, with the work including an energy efficiency upgrade.
The renovation project aimed to reinterpret the original architectural concept of Gabetti & Isola, protagonists of 20th-century Italian architecture who in the 1990s, designed the Azimut|Benetti Group headquarters in Piedmont, Liguria, and Tuscany.
Azimut has a history spanning more than 50 years, and the best way to honour it is to continue evolving, as my father always did.

AMDL CIRCLE has added the entrance pavilion as a new element to the building.
“I had the image of the Louvre pyramid in mind. A statement of changing times, but above all a sign of how the new finds its full power in its relationship with the grandeur of the past, explained Giovanna Vitelli, Azimut chair.

Other features include a new Virtual Reality room where the technical and style departments collaborate, and where guests and owners will choose layouts, furnishings, colours, and fabrics using virtual reality.
