BlueNav’s latest launch is its Smart Hybrid Boating Solution which aims to make boating more intuitive.
The company has also extended its range with the BlueSpin 8kW outboard motor, with the new addition to BlueNav’s range targeted at smaller and lighter boats.

At the centre of the new Smart Hybrid Boating Solution is a combination of hardware and software features designed for efficiency, maneuverability, and ease of use.

On the hardware side, retractable BlueSpin motors (BlueSpin Outboard and Inhull) allow the turbine to be retracted with no drag impact when navigating in combustion mode.
A bow thruster allows for easier maneuvering, and Rim Drive Technology (RDT) hubless drive offers high thrust at low speed.
Charging is via 48V charging sockets.
The system also includes BlueNav’s Whale Design blades, exclusive to their RDT motors, developed to optimize energy consumption and enhance propulsion performance.
On the software side, the system includes a Virtual Anchor, which keeps the boat in position facing wind and currents without the need for a physical anchor.
There is also Heading Hold, to maintain a steady course and Waypoint Tracking, for route planning.
Additional features like Course Hold and Cruise Control hae been incorporated to further optimize navigation.
Lateral Docking allows the boat to move along its transversal axis, making docking easier and more controlled.
