BlueNav has launched its new hybrid 11kW Outboard motor at boot Düsseldorf 2026.
The new model is the first BlueNav motor equipped with a turbine designed and engineered in-house.
Until now, BlueNav’s 8kW and 15kW motors have relied on Rim Drive Technology (RDT) turbines.
With the 11kW Outboard, BlueNav has taken a step forward by introducing its own proprietary retractable turbine.
The new turbine has been developed in-house and integrates a patented dynamic anti-cavitation thrust control, to continuously optimise energy efficiency and reduce cavitation, aimed at smoother, quieter and more controlled navigation.
Compact architecture
The new outboard is built on the same compact architecture as the 8kW allowing BlueNav’s solutions to be integrated into a wider range of boats.
The 11kW Outboard is primarily avaiable in a twin configuration and is designed to power boats between 6 and 12 tons.
The 11kW will also be available in a single configuration, suitable for boats between 3 and 6 tons.
The outboard integrates the company’s smart navigation solutions including a Dynamic Positioning System (DPS), drift lock, 360° docking, lateral docking and autopilot functions such as heading or course hold and speed control.
