Hall Spars has appointed Andre Crawford as its new general manager.
Andre began his career as a design engineer at Southern Spars and is returning to the North Technology Group to lead Southern Spars’ sister company, Hall Spars, into a new era.
He brings nearly two decades of hands-on experience in advanced composites, manufacturing process improvement, and team leadership to his new role.
Andre’s career includes senior roles in mast and rig production as well as management experience at the UK Ministry of Defence.
He has led teams in both R&D and production settings, with a focus on quality control, process efficiency, and composite manufacturing.
Engineering background

Hall Spars was founded more than 40 years’ ago and focuses on creating carbon masts and booms for racing and cruising yachts.
North Technology Group dates back to 1957 and is the parent company of North Sails, Southern Spars, Future Fibres, Hall Spars, Mystic Boarding, North Kiteboarding, and now Sailmon.
