Dometic has appointed Mike Normington as vice president of APAC Marine.
Mike will be based on Queensland’s Gold Coast, and will lead the company’s marine operations across the Asia-Pacific region.
He will be responsible for the operational and financial performance of sales and distribution throughout the APAC region.
Mike will lead the development of Dometic’s long-term growth strategies and collaborate with product management, development, sales, and other key stakeholders to build a product and operational roadmap for sustained business growth.
He joins Dometic with more than 15 years of leadership experience in B2B and retail sales, global business shared services, and transformation initiatives across Australia and New Zealand.
Strategic programmes
He has a track record in driving growth, engaging stakeholders, managing strategic programmes, and delivering against business objectives.
During his career, Mike has also led large direct and indirect teams with a focus on cost and risk management.
Most recently, Mike served as general manager, Integration at bp Australia Pty Ltd, where he oversaw the integration of a 50-site retail network.
Prior to that, he was general manager, retail operations ANZ, where he oversaw 440 stores and more than 6,000 employees.
He has also served as vice chair of the board of directors for the Australian Association of Convenience Stores.
