Global Marine Business Advisors (GMBA) has appointed Ulrich (Uli) Heinemann as its newest consultant.
The GMBA says the decision has been driven by the industry’s need for specialised skills in yacht certification, marine engineering, and regulatory expertise.
Uli has more than five decades of experience and technical acumen in marine engineering and yacht certification.
His experience includes more than two decades as MD of the International Marine Certification Institute (IMCI) plus leadership roles within ISO and CEN standards committees.

He is the founder and leader of Heinemann-Yacht-Assessment, where he has consistently advanced yacht certification, safety standards, and innovation.
His new role is set to enhance GMBA’s capability to offer guidance in yacht certification and marine industry standards.
