Gildas Le Masson returns to Nautitech Catamarans

Gildas Le Masson has returned to his former role as CEO of Nautitech Catamarans, less than a year after he left the boatbuilder.

In a statement, Nautitech Catamarans said: “After leaving a lasting mark on the company with six years of commitment and innovation, he returns with a renewed ambition: to continue pursuing excellence and elevate the Nautitech DNA to new heights.”

Under Gildas Le Masson’s previous leadership, Nautitech achieved several major milestones.

These included a strategic refocus to the owner market and development of the customer experience, solic financial profitabiity and modernisation of boat production for greater agility and performance.

In addition, Gildas helped oversee a successful range renewal, including the 44 Open and 48 Open, both of which were named European Yacht of the Year in a three year period.

At the time, Nautitech general manager Kai Brandes stated: “Under his leadership, Nautitech Catamarans has enjoyed historic success, including the launch of two new models, one of them award-winning, that have redefined industry standards.”

“His return marks a key moment for Nautitech, and we look forward to writing the next chapters of our story together,” continued the Nautitech statement.

Gildas Le Masson joined Privilège Marine as CEO in March 2024, leading a new operational organisation.

Nautitech Catamarans has been part of Bavaria Yachtbau Holding GmbH since 2014.
