Patrik von Sydow has returned to exploration boatbuilder Numarine as the company’s new chief executive officer.
Von Sydow previously served as CEO of Numarine from 2010 to 2012.
He brings more than 20 years of senior leadership experience across European yacht building to his new role.
For the past six years, he served as CEO of Turquoise Yachts, overseeing growth and multiple high-profile deliveries.
Prior to that, he led international brand and engineering driven manufacturing companies as CEO across different industry sectors.
The shipyard has a strong foundation, a loyal client base, and a clear product identity.

In his new role, von Sydow will focus on accelerating the development of Numarine’s product range, strengthening operations, and advancing global market presence, while maintaining the shipyard’s reputation for innovation, efficiency, and craftsmanship.
Founder and chairman Ömer Malaz will shift his attention toward long-term strategy, partnerships, and brand direction, ensuring continuity.
