Caudwell Marine strengthens North American presence

Caudwell Marine has strengthened its North American presence with the appointment of Eric Guerette and Naydn Best as product support engineers, based in the US.

The appointments come ahead of the commercial launch of the company’s new AX300 Diesel outboard later this year.

The announcement also coincides with the first US field trial partner taking delivery of AX300 Diesel outboards for extended in-market evaluation to strengthen the company’s real-world testing programme ahead of launch.

The two engineers will work alongside Caudwell Marine’s UK engineering and technical teams to support engine commissioning, technical enquiries, product and service training, field support and distributor development.

They will also provide a direct link between operators in North America and the engineering teams responsible for the continued development of the AX300 Diesel, providing real-world operational feedback to shape future product improvements.

Knowledgeable people

“Building a premium commercial propulsion system is as much about the quality of the product as it is about giving professional operators the confidence that knowledgeable people are there to support them throughout the life of the engine,” explained Sarah Simpson, CEO of Caudwell Marine.

“From the beginning, we’ve been committed to building not only an exceptional diesel outboard, but also the technical expertise and customer support that sits behind it.

“Expanding our team in North America is another important milestone in that journey and demonstrates our long-term commitment to the region.”
