Trach Mate has agreed to a deal to transfer ownership of the Spiroll range of Chafe and Rope protectors to Nixon Marine Global.
Nixon Marine Global will continue to manufacture the products in its Windham, US, facility and will continue to operate the same equipment and processes that have manufactured the product for almost 25 years.
“I couldn’t be more pleased that the Spiroll legacy will continue for the maritime, climbing, and work-at-height marketplaces under the management of Nixon Marine Global,” said Mark O’Donnell, Trach Mate owner.
“What started as a term paper for school 23 years ago has turned into a multi-national product line with results that exceeded my wildest expectations. I look forward to seeing where Nixon Marine Global will bring the brand next.”

“Our in-house manufacturing is well aligned with the needs for Spiroll production.
“We will continue to supply this quality product and aim to provide further growth to this already strong brand.”
Spiroll Chafe Guards provide protection for most surfaces from rubbing lines.
The Rope Protectors are used in climbing, rescue, and work-at-height industries.
