U-Boat Worx has appointed Bart van Nunen as its new CEO.
The company’s founder Bert Houtman will continue to play a role as a shareholder and ambassador.
The company, which manufactures submersibles for underwater exploration, also has the backing of a new shareholder.
The new leadership team will focus on advancing the company’s technological capabilities, expanding its global footprint, and driving forward innovations aid underwater exploration.

Bart joins U-Boat Worx with experience in the technology and manufacturing sectors, where he has developed long-term strategies and driven companies from scale-up to full production.
He has extensive sailing experience which encompasses global voyages and time aboard tall ships.
U-Boat Worx is also strengthening and expanding its field operations (FOP) team to further enhance its customer satisfaction and to provide clients with top-tier service, support, and training.
The company has a strong order book that it says reflects the continued trust customers place in it, reflecting the demand for high-quality submersibles.
