Wisdom Audio, designer and manufacturer of loudspeakers and amplifiers, has acquired nexgentec audio.
With the acquisition, Wisdom Audio aims to further penetrate the top segment of the marine and outdoor markets.
nexgentec audio is a Swiss company that designs and manufactures audio solutions for marine and high-end residential customers.
The company has developed strong relationships with key players in the superyacht industry, having designed and deployed solutions in a dozen of the top superyachts in the last ten years.

Wisdom Audio was founded in 1996 with the aim of creating the best loudspeakers.
nexgentec was founded in 2015 to fill a gap in the market of a lack of existing interfaces suitable for high-end marine and residential markets to fully work with Dante audio over IP solutions.
The company’s first product was the MCP4K interface and it now produces a range of products for digital signal processing, amplifiers and interfaces.
