Wama Yachts and Odisea catamarans have formed a joint venture to develop high-performance aluminium sailing catamarans.
The yachts will be designed, engineered, and built under the Wama Yachts brand.
The companies say the partnership brings together two pioneers of aluminium multihull construction united by a shared vision – to redefine the modern sailing catamaran through performance-driven engineering, advanced construction standards, and refined onboard experience.
The joint venture will see the sailing catamarans developed and produced at Wama Yachts’ Tunisian shipyard, using Wama’s processes and hybrid experience in aluminium and advanced composites.
Foil-assisted hull innovation
The sailing range will carry the Wama name, with individual models identified under the Odisea name.
Wama Yachts will use its proprietary aluminum and GRP vacuum-infusion experience together with its foil-assisted hull innovation and established international dealer network.
Odisea catamarans will contribute its sailing-catamaran naval architecture experience, certified aluminium construction techniques, and layouts optimised for long-range cruising.
There are currently three sailing catamarans in the range, the Odisea 48, Odisea 55 and Odisea 64.
