Vetus is set to move into a new purpose-built HQ in Schiedam, Netherlands next month.
The move comes as the company celebrates its 60th anniversary in 2024 and says it is looking to the future.
The new state-of-the-art HQ consists of 9500msq office, commercial and advanced test facilities, with the building aimed at enhancing efficiency, meeting evolving customer expectations and strengthening employee satisfaction.
The building has been designed to increase the warehouse space to double the current capacity, helping the company to store, process and ship products efficiently.
It will also offer better facilities to show products and conduct (in-water) tests with mooring spaces for Vetus demo boats.
The building features a rooftop solar panel array which will generate much of the company’s energy.
For the remaining energy requirement, the company uses dedicated wind and hydro energy to achieve a carbon neutral footprint.
The new warehouse will be equipped with the latest developments in automated storage and retrieval systems and have a greater capacity than in the current Vetus warehouse.
“The new building and our innovations will bring significant benefits, enhancing efficiency, boosting employee satisfaction even further and positioning us closer to our end customers,” said CEO Marcel Borsboom.
The office move is part of Vetus’s wider long-term strategy for growth and development, which has seen the opening of new branch offices, as well as regional team expansions.
