Saxdor expands manufacturing facility and increases production

Finnish shipyard Saxdor Yachts has expanding its manufacturing capacity with the opening of a new facility in Larsmo, Finland.

The expansion comes as Saxdor prepares to enter the 45 – 50ft category for the first time with the launch of its latest model, the Saxdor 460 GTC.

The new model is due to debut in January 2026 and will be the flagship of the new 46-foot range and the largest Saxdor to date.

Like its smaller sisters, the new Saxdor 460 GTC has a twin-step hull and a full-width wheelhouse with sliding doors leading to a pair of drop-down balconies.

“The Saxdor 460 GTC marks a new chapter for our brand,” said Erna Rusi, CEO of Saxdor Yachts.

Our continuous growth and strong demand confirm that Saxdor has earned its place in the market.

“Our continuous growth and strong demand confirm that Saxdor has earned its place in the market, and that interest in our boats now extends to new customer segments, including those now looking toward the larger end of our range.”

The expansion will focus on building Saxdor’s largest and most advanced models, including the flagship 460 GTC.

The move is intended to enable Saxdor to sustain its trajectory, with projected annual growth of 70% in 2025.

In October 2025, the shipyard announced it was officially entering the Canadian market through two new exclusive dealerships and also that it had seen a 49% year-on-year increase in US sales.

In addition, earlier in 2025, the brand announced it was expanding into Bulgaria, Romania and Albania as part of its commitment to international growth.
