Raymarine is collaborating with WATCHIT, manufacturer of collision prevention products.
As part of the collaboration, WATCHIT’s anti-collision technology will be combined with Raymarine’s compatible Axiom chartplotters.
In addition, Raymarine LightHouse Charts have been designated as the official map supplier for WATCHIT.
WATCHIT’s integration with Raymarine’s Axiom chartplotters are set to enhance the capabilities of Raymarine’s display systems.
Using algorithms and sensor fusion, WATCHIT’s Smart Collision Prevention System is inspired by automotive safety technology, bringing its protection to the marine environment.
Collision avoidance
The system analyses a boat’s existing data to provide warnings before a collision occurs. The WATCHIT system offers safety coverage – from collision avoidance to grounding prevention in an integrated solution.
