Portland Yacht Services (PYS) full-service boatyard, has acquired the Portland Boat Show.
The acquisition is aimed at ensuring the continued success and growth of the boating event while reinforcing PYS’s dedication to the industry.
The Portland Boat Show was previously run by PRM Promotions is an event for marine industry professionals, and boat owners, showing the latest vessels, marine equipment, and services.
The new owners intend to ensure the show maintains its commitment to delivering an ‘unparalleled experience’ for exhibitors and attendees while also exploring new opportunities for growth and innovation.

The PYS team has more than 30 years of experience running the Maine Boat Builders show and says the experience will carry over in order to help provide a seamless transition.
PYS plans to expand exhibitor offerings, enhance educational programs, and introduce interactive experiences that highlight advancements in marine technology, sustainability, and boating safety.
The next Portland Boat Show is scheduled to take place from February 25 to March 1 2026, at Portland Maine.
