Paris boat show returns

More than 200 boats are due to be on show at the Paris Nautic Show as organisers aim to bring together the marine industry and public.

The show will take place over five days from 26 – 30 November covering 40,000 square metres of exhibition space at the Parc des Expositions du Bourget.

The revamped show will incorporate seven themed areas consisting of sailboats, powerboats, engine manufacturers, equipment suppliers, watersports and outdoor activities, tourism and rentals, services, federations, and racing.

“The French Nautical Industries Federation has always championed the importance of a major nautical event in Paris,” explained Jean-Paul Chapeleau, president of show organiser, the French Nautical Industries Federation.

In a constantly evolving environment, the industry needs more than ever to enhance its appeal and share its many innovations.

“In a constantly evolving environment, the industry needs more than ever to enhance its appeal and share its many innovations.”

And he explained that the Paris Boat Show has been a key player in the development of recreational boating in France since the first show was held in 1926.

Over its history, the show has reflected the major evolutions in the sector such as in outboard motors, new materials, and the democratisation of nautical activities.

The show expanded and moved to the CNIT in La Défense in the 1960s and was able to host larger-scale innovations, presidential visits, and celebrate sporting achievements.

From 1988 onwards, the event expanded to the Porte de Versailles and welcomed more than 300,000 visitors each year becoming a global benchmark for boating.

Innovation and momentum

After the Covid pandemic and a three-year hiatus, the show is again being held, with organisers hoping it will reconnect with its heritage while accelerating innovation and collective momentum.

“In 2025, this iconic event returns with renewed ambition: the Paris Nautic Show marks the birth of a new, more dynamic, more committed, and more forward-looking show,” said Christophe Vieux, managing director, M2 Organisation.

The show will incorporate several themed days highlighting offshore racing and maritime innovation; innovation and sustatinable development that will also see discussions on decarbonisation, sustainable materials, and new uses.

Another themed day will focus on offshore racing with skippers and sailors involved in the sector sharing their experiences.

In addition, Tahiti and its islands will be in the spotlight throughout the show, highlighting sasiling in the Polynesian archipelago and its traditions.
