More than 170 exhibitors will be showing new boats, the latest tech, clothing, equipment, holidays and courses at the RYA Dinghy & Watersports Show.
Paris 2024 kite foiling gold medallist Ellie Aldridge MBE, America’s Cup and SailGP helm Dylan Fletcher MBE, Women’s America’s Cup star Hannah Diamond plus world record-breaking windsurfer Jenna Gibson are all set to appear at the show taking place at Farnborough International.
Returning show hosts Eilidh McIntyre MBE, Lee Timothy, James Hardy and Peter Hart will make appearances on the Sunsail Main Stage, the Knowledge Zone and the Coaching Corner.
Other show highlights will include Stevie Morrison – Aldridge’s Olympic coach as well as Athena Pathway coach – and Athena Pathway youth helm and Emirates GBR SailGP team data analyst Nick Robins will also share their experiences.
Four-time slalom windsurfing world champion Jenna Gibson will share what it takes to be the fastest female windsurfer in history.
Tactics guru Mark Rushall will hold a ‘countdown to success’ session discussing winning startline strategies and key tips for those early race decisions, and British Sailing Team meteorologist Simon Rowell will give a ‘Wind forecasting’ talk on how to harness the breeze to a tactical advantage.
Other speakers will include Peter Hart who will give a windsurfing ‘gybing masterclass’ while James Hardy and Mia Adcock’s ‘Winging it’ will explore common themes to progress at wingfoiling. The duo will also talk all things winging equipment.
Para sailors Toby Owen and Anthony Williams and coach Becky Ellis will also take a look back at their past year in the RS Venture Connect.
