The 2025 Barcelona International Boat Show is set to mark the beginning of a new journey for the show.
Organisers are promising a revamp that will expand the show’s footprint and enable a larger range of products to be shown.
Organisers also say the quality of offerings will also be improved.
“With this new format, the goal is to take a leap forward among the major European boat shows in terms of the quality of its offering and the presence of large international brands, thereby helping to strengthen Barcelona’s position as the Spanish and European capital of sports and leisure boating,” said the show’s president Luis Conde.
The show will run from 8-12 October, featuring larger boats and more exclusive showcases from leading brands, including greater representation from international shipyards, ‘in order to attract a more qualified audience with greater decision-making and purchasing power’.
Exclusive priority access
New show features will include a hosted buyers programme and exclusive priority access to the show before the general public with the aim of attracting high-level visitors.
Organisers will also employ a network of ambassadors — including major companies in the yacht club sector — to promote the event nationally and around the world.
Another addition to the 2025 show is a 2,500sqm village planned for the Portal de la Pau area of the Port Vell, offering gastronomy among other attractions.
The show will also continue its focus on sustainability, the blue economy and innovation as key themes that will be addressed via conferences and talks at the Agora forum, coordinated by Port de Barcelona.
