New HQ for Spanish distributor

Spanish and Portuguese distributor of marine engines and accessories, Touron, is set to move into its new facilities in April 2025.

Work on the new HQ in Torrejón de Ardoz started in June 2024, with the new space providing greater storage capacity, allowing the company to offer a better service to clients, while continuing to grow and consolidate its brands in the market.

“This move marks a milestone in our journey and reinforces our commitment to continue being one of the leading companies in the recreational boating sector in Spain and Portugal,” said a company spokesperson.

The new facilities are located on a plot of almost 13,500sqm and will include 7,800sqm of warehouse and almost 1,000sqm of offices.

The space has been built to be as sustainable as possible and has a BREEAM environmental sustainability certificate.

Features of the new building include six loading docks, an access ramp, a ground-level entrance gate, fire protection measures and solar panels for self-supply.

The office area will be set up to provide collaborative and versatile open spaces, with meeting rooms, open common work areas and space for coffee and breaks.

The warehouse part will provide Touron with an initial storage capacity 30% higher than the company’s current facility.

A training area will be divided into two spaces – one area for theoretical training, potential commercial conventions and internal debates, and the other area practical staff training with test cells and diagnostic tools.

Other features will include a 200sqm workshop, double the distributor’s current capacity with workstations for engines, hydraulic lifts tooling, a crane and washing area.

Demanding regulations

“The configuration of all the spaces will guarantee us to work in a much safer way, complying with the most demanding regulations,” explained the spokesperson.

In addition, there is an extra unequipped area that will allow Touron to grow by an additional 20% in the future.

A second stage planned for 2026, will see around 225sqm converted to a permanent internal display area for product presentations, complementing any training days or commercial conferences.

“With this major step, we aim to achieve all the goals we set ourselves at the time: modernise our facilities, obtain more storage space, work more safely, adapt the image of our company to the 21st century, and be ready to grow and strengthen the unity of our human team,” concluded the spokesperson.

Touron is a distributor of marine engines and accessories.
