Southern Wind has introduced its new flagship and largest yacht built to date, the SW123.
The SW123 is a Smart Custom yacht conceived as a new customisable platform.
The yacht’s naval architecture is by Farr Yacht Design with exterior and interior design by Nauta Design.
The yacht will be the lightest performance cruiser in Southern Wind’s range, designed to be a balance between high performance and a true sailing yacht.
The craft is designed to deliver fast and exhilarating long-range cruising, with comfort and luxury.
The first SW123 is already under construction and scheduled to launch in February 2027.
SW123 is one of four yachts currently under construction at Southern Wind.
Luxury cruising
All of them are sailing yachts suitable for ocean crossings, remote exploration, competitive racing, and luxury cruising.
The third unit of the SW108 Smart Custom series is under construction and the sixth unit in the SW96 series is also under construction.
The yacht has been commissioned by a seasoned sailor and racer and will be optimised for both offshore and coastal racing.
She will make her regatta debut in 2026.
In addition, the first yacht in Southern Wind’s new SW100X mini series is also in build.
The crossover craft has been designed for comfort, performance, and functionality.
Features of the yacht include a 20.2sqm Seaside Lounge and a beach-club experience directly connected to the sea.
The yacht has been designed for easy handling with a reduced crew.
