Benetti has appointed Federico Ferrante as president of Azimut|Benetti Americas to assume responsibility for Benetti’s commercial development in the Americas.
The appointment is part of the Azimut|Benetti Group’s strategy to develop and grow its internal resources.
Federico joined the Azimut|Benetti more than 25 years ago and has since had a variety of roles with the Group.
These have included opening and operating the company’s US branch – the Group’s first foreign location.
He spent several years as branch vice president and director of Americas service operations before being promoted to president and director of Americas sales and service operations.
He has a multicultural personal profile, with dual citizenship and residence in the United States.
In his new role, he aims to strengthen Benetti’s growth in the American markets and seize what Benetti believes is unexplored development potential in the area that extends from Canada to Chile, including the Caribbean.
