Budapest based MS Marine Europe has officially launched its plug and mould production operations, offering full-scale composite tooling for boatbuilders and shipyards, with one of the largest CNC milling machines in its class measuring 20m x 7.5m x 3.9m (length x width x height).
“Our aim is to become a key partner for European and global boatbuilders,” explained Milan Sterk, CEO and founder of MS Marine Europe.
“We speak the language of boatbuilders – from design to delivery.”
MS Marine Europe specialises in large-scale plugs and molds for hulls, decks, and superstructures with tooling designed for vacuum infusion, hand lay-up, or prepreg processing – with a focus on speed, surface quality, and dimensional accuracy.
High-performance
The company carries out a range of tasks including plug and mould construction, engineering and design, lamination, and logistics providing shipyards with access to high-end technology.
All moulds are built using high-performance materials: vinylester resins, Maxguard tooling gelcoats, multi-layer reinforcement with woven roving and CSM fibers, and foam core in selected structural areas.
“We know what matters in real-world production,” added Milan. “Speed, precision, and reliability are what our customers value most – and that’s what we deliver.”
MS Marine is a manufacturer of aluminium RIBS and foldable inflatable boats. The company has several brands including Zar Mini, Zar Formenti, Sterk Yachts, Grand, Fish and Oahu Boards.
