David Walters Yachts has been appointed to represent MJM Yachts in the Bahamas and Caribbean.
The yacht dealer will cover the Bahamas and Turks & Caicos Islands, as well as in the British and U.S. Virgin Islands, Sint/St. Maarten, St. Barths, St. Kitts and Nevis.
In 1982, David Walters, co-founder of Shannon Yachts, founded his own sailing yacht brand, Cambria, and opened yacht sales division David Walters Yachts (DWY) with his wife, Betsy.
The business built on Dave’s yacht design and boat-building experience and grew to become a leading international sales and brokerage firm specialising in blue-water sail and power cruising yachts.
We have long admired the MJM brand and are genuinely excited to welcome their yachts into our portfolio.
Josh Mclean
“For more than 40 years, David Walters Yachts has focused on representing yachts that embody enduring quality, refined design, versatility, and real-world performance,” said David Walters Yachts president Josh Mclean.
“MJM’s Crafted for Life philosophy aligns seamlessly with those principles and the customer experience we strive to deliver.
“From their engineering and construction to the culture of their team and owner community, MJM consistently demonstrates a commitment to excellence.”
He added: “We have long admired the MJM brand and are genuinely excited to welcome their yachts into our portfolio as part of their dealer network.”
Great design
MJM Yachts president and CEO Natascia Hatch continued: “David Walters Yachts shares our belief that great design must perform in the real world.
“In the Bahamas and Caribbean, owners want a yacht that welcomes friends aboard and still cruises confidently between islands – ready for quick hops, longer weekends, and changing conditions.
“That versatility is exactly what MJM is built for, and we’re excited to partner with the David Walters Yachts team.”
