Maritimo has appointed Primus Marine as its authorised dealer for Asia to strengthen the Australian luxury motor yacht builder’s presence across Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia.
The appointment is the fourth location in Asia for Maritimo, with dealerships in Japan, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.
Maritimo was founded by Australian boatbuilder Bill Barry-Cotter in 2003 and builds long-range motor yachts designed for offshore performance, efficiency and cruising.
Primus Marine is based in Thailand and operates from Phuket and Pattaya, with a growing footprint in Singapore and Malaysia.
The company is expanding its presence, including establishing a Singapore office and developing a broader regional team.
Important growth market
Under the agreement, Primus Marine will represent Maritimo’s full range of motor yachts – the M-Series Flybridge Motor Yachts, S-Series Sedan Motor Yachts and Offshore Series Motor Yachts.
“Southeast Asia is an important growth market for Maritimo and what we’re seeing is a growing desire among owners to experience more than what’s accessible on a day trip – to travel further, stay longer and reach parts of the region that many boats simply aren’t designed for,” said Derrick Nowak, Maritimo’s global business development manager.

Maritimo is a highly respected name among experienced yacht owners.

The partnership will also support Maritimo’s participation in the upcoming Singapore Yacht Festival 2026.
