The Foiling Organization and the Italian Marine Industry Association (Confindustria Nautica) have launched a joint initiative to create an annual event dedicated to foiling.
The event will aim to strengthen ties with shipyards, increase understanding of industry needs, and drive the development of next-generation solutions for both power and sailing applications.
“The Foiling Organization has been working for over a decade to advance both the industrial and the sporting dimensions of foiling,” explained Luca Rizzotti, president of The Foiling Organization.
“Our association brings together leading global players — including Italy’s three main yacht builders — and we believe the future of foiling lies in establishing a dedicated Expo.”

He added: “With the support of the Italian Marine Industry Association, and the collaboration of regional and municipal institutions already alongside us for the World Foiling Congress and the Foiling Awards, we can turn this vision into a major opportunity for the global foiling industry.”
The announcement follows on from recognition that foiling is a fast-evolving technology that continues to gain global momentum and open new market opportunities.
At the recent Genoa International Boat Show, The Foiling Organization presented a 200sqm exhibition showing foiling technology through boats, boards, models, components, videos, talks, and live appearances from top foiling talents.
The Foiling Organization also delivered six days of on-water demonstrations, featuring both sailing and electric foiling craft in collaboration with Waterfront Sailing Club Genova, Drylaps, Fliteboard, North Sails and North Actionsports Group,
