Landau makes connected displays standard

Landau Boats has selected Finnish marine electronics company Nextfour to supply multifunction displays across most of its 2027 pontoon range.

The Q Display will be fitted as standard to every Landau pontoon except models in the A’Lure fishing series. The Missouri boatbuilder introduced the updated line-up at its dealer meeting on 9 August, and the first boats have already been delivered to customers.

The installation uses Nextfour’s Q Float system, which separates the screen from its processing unit and mounts the display above the dashboard.

The Q Float series received an honourable mention in the OEM Electronics category of the 2026 IBEX Innovation Awards.

Mobile connectivity

Nextfour’s partnership with Marlin Technologies enables system control through the touchscreen or physical helm buttons.

Each display combines navigation, engine data, entertainment and onboard controls. Mobile connectivity allows owners to monitor the boat through the Q Experience app.

“Prices are going up across the industry, but a higher price should come with something new,” said Landau Boats president Kelby Phelps.

“We wanted to give our customers more value with a premium user experience, so together with Nextfour we redesigned the helm around where we believe the industry is heading.”

Value-pontoon segment

Otto Öhman, director of US operations at Nextfour, said larger displays were unusual in the value-pontoon segment.

“Landau’s entry-level buyers now get a 10-inch connected display as standard,” he said.

“The screens grow with each series, and any Landau can be upgraded all the way to the 15-inch.”

Landau manufactures the A’Lure, Island Breeze, Atlantis and Signature pontoon ranges in Lebanon, Missouri.
