Kayak Distribution has acquired RAILBLAZA, designer of mounting systems and accessories for marine, paddle-sports and outdoor users. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The Canadian-owned buyer designs and distributes kayaks and paddle-sports equipment with RAILBLAZA joining a portfolio that includes Vibe Kayaks, Cobra Kayaks, Riot Kayaks and Boreal Design, adding marine mounting products and accessories to the group’s existing boat brands.
Kayak Distribution says it has begun reviewing RAILBLAZA’s manufacturing relationships, inventory planning, operations and global supply chain.
The company expects these measures to improve product availability and partner service during 2027, although it did not provide investment figures, staffing details or specific delivery targets.

And he said the group intended to support RAILBLAZA with product development, more dependable supply and closer relationships with distributors and retailers.
