Henri-Lloyd expands distribution network

Henri-Lloyd has appointed Yachting Mission 524 as its new distributor for Croatia, Slovenia and Montenegro.

Yachting Mission 524, founded by Olympic Finn sailor Ivan Kljakovic Gaspic, is headquartered at Split where a new showroom has been built to display the full range of Henri-Lloyd’s marine apparel and accessories.

In addition to introducing the Henri-Lloyd range into key retailers, Yachting Mission 524 will be working directly with the many yachting companies, sailing teams and events that take place on the region.

“Croatia is a leading holiday destination and supports the world’s largest bareboat charter fleet,” explained Ivan.

“In addition, the Croatia Sailing Federation hosts over 400 registered regattas every year.

“These events and corporate regattas offer a huge opportunity to highlight the Henri-Lloyd range as team wear, and branded corporate clothing.”

“We are very pleased to have Yachting Mission 524 join our team and look forward to continued success in the market.”

The new Henri-Lloyd collection incorporates a raft of technical features including PFC-free and recycled waterproof and water-resistant fabrics, four-way stretch and ergonomically designed garments, taped seams, all-round vision hoods, high visibility patches and UV protection.

“It’s an exciting time to be working again with Henri-Lloyd,” concluded Ivan.

“I have a strong affinity for the company, as they supported me during my Olympic sailing campaigns, and in fact I still have some of my clothing from that time – and it still works.”
