Gulf Craft to enhance production using AI

Luxury yacht manufacturer Gulf Craft is aiming to enhance its production with the integration of automatic intelligence (AI) into its boatbuilding.

The shipyard has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Florida-based provider of cognitive AI-driven technology solutions, Partsol.

Gulf Craft, founded more than four decades ago, says the collaboration marks the next step in its ongoing commitment to advancing yacht manufacturing while preserving the artistry behind each build.

The collaboration will explore AI-powered design optimisation, intelligent automation, and real-time production tracking to enhance efficiency, precision, and customisation at every stage of its yacht manufacturing.

By leveraging predictive analytics and automation, Gulf Craft says it aims to refine production processes, shorten timelines, and further elevate the level of detail and craftsmanship incorporated in its yachts.

“Innovation has always been at the core of Gulf Craft’s journey,” said Mohammed Hussein Alshaali, chairman of Gulf Craft.

“While we remain deeply rooted in the heritage of bespoke yacht building, our collaboration with Partsol allows us to integrate advanced AI-driven solutions that refine precision, enhance customisation, and optimise efficiency without compromising on craftsmanship.”

Dr Darryl Williams, CEO of Partsol, added: “Luxury yacht building is both an art and a science.

“With Partsol’s cognitive AI technology, Gulf Craft can seamlessly blend advanced automation with artisanal craftsmanship, ensuring that each yacht is a masterpiece of engineering and design.”

Partsol provides AI technology developed to enhance strategic decision-making in complex environments. The company says it turns vast, complex data into actionable insights for a range of companies and industry sectors.
