First international standard marina inaugurated

Vietnam has officially inaugurated its first international standard marina.

Ana Marina, located in in Nha Trang, on the South-Eastern coast of Vietnam, is designed to provide sheltered berthing for up to 220 vessels including five-star vessels and yachts.

The marina first began trial operations in April 2023 with 90 berths in operation, and has since hosted more than 2,000 domestic and international ship arrivals.

It has now been granted the VNANA port code by the General Department of Customs, which is said to be a critical foundation for developing international sailing routes and positioning Vietnam on the global luxury yachting map.

Coastal destinations

Marina operators anticipate it becoming a hub to connect coastal destinations in both Vietnam and abroad.

Ana Marina has been built to standards set by the International Council of Marine Industry Associations (ICOMIA), and integrates a range of high-end facilities, including entertainment complexes, restaurants, five-star hotels, conference centers, and full international services such as fueling, food supply, yacht repair, and maintenance.

It is designed by Camper & Nicholsons Marinas and spans more than 89 hectares, including 68 hectares of water area, and has a life span of at least 50 years.

Other marina features include a maritime channel for vessel entry and exit, a wave barrier, and recreational service complexes.
