ePropulsion to power Maxima tenders

ePropulsion Americas is to provide electric propulsion for Maxima Boats 620 and 630 model sloop tenders.

ePropulsion’s Navy 6.0 Evo and X12 will provide a choice of 6kW or 12kW of power to the tenders.

The Maxima 620 and 630 tender sloops combine nostalgic and modern design with a smooth hull shape with a rope fender and an integrated swim platform.

The swim platform is suitable for boarding and disembarking and also provides protection against the motor’s propeller.

We know Maxima customers will enjoy the quiet performance and reliability.

The motor is mounted in the well and will provide silent operation and the underwater hull design makes the sloop more efficient.

“The Maxima line of tenders have a unique aesthetic that set them apart from other vessels in their class and the thoughtful design is maximized for safe and easy cruising,” explained Tom Watson, president of ePropulsion Americas.

“We know Maxima customers will enjoy the quiet performance and reliability that comes from pairing the Maxima line with the proven Navy Evo electric outboard.”

The Navy 6.0 Evo is a light-duty outboard that provides 6kW of power, while the X12 offers 12kW of power.

The Navy Evo has a brushless direct-drive motor and the X12 features a compact, fully integrated design, unifying electric steering, power trim/tilt, the electric control unit (ECU) and the controller within a single assembly.
