ePropulsion is to take over the direct management of its business in Germany, following a decade of working with distributor Ditoma GmbH.
ePropulsion has formed a new subsidiary, ePropulsion Deutschland GmbH, to will provide a direct presence in Germany and manage operations, marking a shift towards closer global integration under the direct leadership of ePropulsion Technology Co., Ltd.
Until now, ePropulsion’s distributor Ditoma GmbH has played an essential role in introducing and expanding the brand across the German market.
This transition was initiated by Ditoma’s managing director, Dirk Weißenborn, who sees it as a timely evolution given ePropulsion’s growing global ambitions.
The market continues to change rapidly, and we believe tighter international collaboration is more important than ever.

“The market continues to change rapidly, and we believe tighter international collaboration is more important than ever,” said Weißenborn.
“ePropulsion has reached a level of maturity where direct management will benefit its continued development in Germany and throughout Europe.”
Going forward, Ditoma will return its attention to its core strength – the wholesale distribution of automotive paint and accessories.
The company will continue to support ePropulsion with operational functions such as logistics.
“Our journey in Germany has already been marked by many successes,” said ePropulsion CEO Danny Tao.
Vital region
“Dirk and his team have laid a solid foundation, and now we are ready to build further.
“The establishment of ePropulsion Germany GmbH allows us to focus more clearly and strategically on our presence in this vital region.”
Daily operations will remain unchanged and the current team responsible for sales, marketing, and service will join the new company.
Michael Held, who previously led the ePropulsion division at Ditoma, will take on the role of managing director for ePropulsion Deutschland.
Insights and feedback
“This transition enables us to collaborate more closely with our colleagues in China and around the world,” he said.
“That connection gives us the ability to respond more quickly to shifts in the market, understand our customers more deeply, and continuously refine our service.
“On top of that, we have new marketing strategies and products in the pipeline, many of which were shaped by insights and feedback gathered from users right here in Germany.”
