Dubai boat show postponed

This year’s Dubai International Boat Show has been postponed to November 2026.

The show was originally due to be held from April 8 to 12 2026 but organisers say the decision follows escalating tensions in the region.

Travel advisories from several governments against Dubai and the UAE remain in force and commercial airspace across the region is severely disrupted.

“Over the past weeks we have been closely reviewing international travel dynamics and market conditions across the wider region,” said organisers in a statement.

Over the past weeks we have been closely reviewing international travel dynamics and market conditions across the wider region.

“Following consultations with our industry partners and the authorities we have jointly agreed to re-schedule DIBS until November 25-29 at the Dubai Harbour venue.”

Organisers say the revised dates align the event with the start of the Middle East’s prime boating season.

The change of date is anticipated to create stronger market conditions for launches, sales and international participation.

The permanent repositioning to November is also intended to reinforce Dubai and the UAE’s role as a regional hub for the recreational marine industry.

The November date will be a permanent move going forward.

The show will now take place at Dubai Harbour from November 25 to 29 2026.
