Demand picks up for HanseYachts

HanseYachts has returned to running at full capacity again following several months of short-time working as it adapted to slower market conditions.

The German shipyard says it has achieved strong preliminary consolidated results for the period from January to September 2025.

Revenue amounted to EUR 105 million, and earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) totaled EUR 4.9 million.

The consolidated profit came to EUR 19.2 million, also influenced by restructuring effects.

We are currently seeing very positive development across all brands.

Hanjo Runde

The shipyard was acquired by Andreas Müller and Hanjo Runde in July 2025, and says it has now successfully restarted operations and is continuing its positive business development.

After a recent period of noticeable market uncertainty, HanseYachts says demand has now picked up significantly, and it is benefiting from a stable order situation and a marked increase in market activity.

Due to strong incoming orders, production is now running at full capacity again, supplemented by planned Saturday shifts to meet the high demand.

“We are currently seeing very positive development across all brands,” said Hanjo Runde, CEO of HanseYachts.

Clear strategic direction

“The market is rewarding our clear strategic direction and the innovative strength of our new models.

“It is particularly gratifying that, after a short consolidation phase, all our plants are once again operating at full capacity.”

A key contribution to this success comes from the latest models to be introduced, in particular, the Fjord 490 Open, Fjord 490 Sport, and Hanse 590.

Andreas Müller, managing partner of Müller-Verwaltung, added: “The new models represent what HanseYachts stands for: quality, design, and passion for sailing and motor yachting.

“The market’s enthusiastic response to these models is a strong signal for the future of our company.”
